Win The WMRC Web Award for 2009
In the last 20 years that I have been surfing the web, I have only ever seen a few websites devoted to trains or model railways. To make your own website is a difficult and time consuming process for any webmaster, and recognition that is given for this very streesful job is very little. The WMRC Web Award Program recognises website creators who have built excellent sites on the web about trains or their model railway.
As with all award programs we do have strict criteria that must be met. The citeria has been set by the site webmaster (me), and if your site meets the criteria you will qualify for the award.
It is The Wisbech Model Railway Club's desire to promote private or commercial websites which represent a high standard in creativity and content.
The award has not been created to increase traffic, or the amount of entries in a guestbook, nor has it been designed to promote or sell any products. The information used to judge the sites is not to dictate, or mandate, any particular design.
The support of other people, who through their award programs, have always been an important part of my own websites growth.
The WMRC Web Award Program, along with many other award programs like it, are dedicated to helping others make the internet a fun and happy place for people of all ages.
The great thing about the web is that it bring's people together that have a common interest in the same things, in our case its TRAINS!
We are also looking for our own site to be awarded too, so please be sure to vote whenever you visit by clicking the vote now button at the bottom of our home page.
Thank you, and we look forward to receiving your votes and entries for 2009.
